Every two years there is an International Congress of Environmental Health. Last time it was held, in 2014, it was in Las Vegas, this year it was in Lilongwe, Malawi.

To be able to attend this conference, Cardiff Met Environmental Health students had to send an abstract of our research projects that we submitted as part of our degree.

Since graduating from Cardiff Met, I am very happy to have recently been offered a full time job in London as a Display Coordinator for a company called Anthropologie; a chain of lifestyle shops specialising in quirky, artsy and ‘boho chic’ clothing and homeware.

I was recently invited to attend the annual Cardiff Met Sports Awards, as a result of my cheerleading and powerlifting. It was such a great night where we got a chance to dress up, have a nice meal and celebrate all the sporting achievements of the year!
