Our Student Blogs help us paint a picture of life at Cardiff Met from a genuine student perspective through blog posts, video and social media. This helps prospective students understand more about our courses, the student experience, our facilities and what the local area has to offer.
Whether you’ve been on amazing field trip, have a top tip for surviving exam season or just want to tell everyone what you get up to during a typical day on your course, we’d love to hear from you. Postgrads, undergrads, mature students and even recent graduates are all welcome to get involved.
We are not recruiting regular student bloggers at the moment, but we’re always looking for guest posts.
What does blogging involve?
We’d need around 500 words from you on your chosen topic, plus as many pictures as possible to illustrate your blog too. As a minimum we need at least one where we can clearly see your face for your profile picture, and at least one landscape/horizontal picture that we can use as the main header image. More is always better though, and we love video too!
Remember that our audience is mostly 16-20 year olds thinking about coming to uni, so write with that in mind – keep it friendly and informal!

How can I get started?
Just drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know what your blog idea is – if we like it we’ll give you the go ahead to start writing, and you could win a £10 Amazon voucher if we publish your post.
