Hello! My name is Jonathan and since July 2018, I have been working as Lecturer in Business and Management at Aberystwyth University. The ‘Preparing to Teach in PCET’ module helped me to gain credits and continue seamlessly onto the PGCE PCET course at Cardiff Met. Studying part-time over two years, was very effective in terms of being able to complete the course around other commitments.

I’m now a manager for product testing at the Adidas headquarters in Bavaria. I’m in charge of the running and swimming clothing categories. I manage the testing process which involves organising and overseeing wear tests, examining garments, writing test reports and communicating the results with our marketing, design and development departments. I am in constant contact with Adidas athletes and I’m always trying to find new product testers. I love my job and I’m proud that all the hard work and effort paid off.

Since graduating from Cardiff Met, I am very happy to have recently been offered a full time job in London as a Display Coordinator for a company called Anthropologie; a chain of lifestyle shops specialising in quirky, artsy and ‘boho chic’ clothing and homeware.

I can’t believe how quick these past three years have gone and that I will actually be graduating in July! Soon, a new chapter of my life will begin, but I have a few things I need to do before I finish – completing my research project, assignments and exams means a lot of preparation needs to be done!
